Proposal: website development for eMenu
What you are looking at
The demo linked from this page is a working structure, not the final draft. It exists to show the direction: what the product is, the offer (scan the menu, order, and pay the bill at the table), and the fact that every order is attached to the right table number, told through the animation rather than paragraphs. In essence, this is what we will move toward.
Scope
- One-page marketing website for digitalemenu.com, built from the demo's structure: hero animation (scan, order, kitchen, pay), clients, outcomes, live client menus, features, integrations, pricing, contact call to action, footer.
- Premium animation as shown in the demo, refined with your feedback, responsive on phone, tablet and desktop, with a reduced-motion version for accessibility.
- Your content in place: real copy, logos, photography and menus you provide, with the pricing, features and client list taken from your current site unless you change them.
- Two rounds of revisions after the first full draft, then launch on your domain with a handover document so your team can edit text and prices without a developer.
- Not included: extra pages (Arabic version, blog, careers), a contact form backend, copywriting beyond the one page, photography, ongoing maintenance. Each can be quoted separately.
Investment and timeline
Week 1: content and assets in, structure locked. Weeks 2 to 3: build and animation, first full draft for review. Week 4: revisions, testing on real devices, launch. Feedback within three working days at each review keeps the timeline; delays on content push the date by the same number of days.
Access we would need
- Domain DNS for digitalemenu.com (or a technical contact who can add a record) so the new site can go live on your domain when you approve it. The current site stays untouched until then.
- Brand assets: the eMenu logo in vector (SVG or AI), brand colours and fonts if a brand guide exists, and client logos in vector where available.
- Content: final copy or approval of the demo copy, pricing and feature list, the client list and menus you are happy to feature, food or venue photography you own the rights to.
- Product screens: a demo login or screenshots of the guest app and back office so the animation reflects the real product, and confirmation of which payment options (split bill, Apple Pay, Google Pay) may be shown.
- Destinations: the email address or CRM that demo requests should go to, your social links, and any analytics or tracking codes to carry over.
Terms of working
- One point of contact on your side who can approve decisions; communication over WhatsApp and email, with a short call at each review.
- Revisions: two rounds after the first full draft are included. Changes to the agreed structure after the first draft, or a third round, are quoted before work starts.
- Content responsibility: you own and are responsible for the text, images, logos and claims supplied. Stock or Creative Commons imagery used in the demo is replaced with your own before launch.
- Ownership: on full payment the website files are yours, hosted where you choose. A handover guide explains how to edit and redeploy.
- After launch: 14 days of fixes for anything that does not work as agreed. Ongoing changes or new pages are a separate agreement.
Payment terms
The timeline of 3 to 4 weeks is counted from the day the advance and the access are received. Work begins the same week.
Next step
Open the demo, scroll through the animation, and send back what you would keep, change or drop. Once the advance is in, we start on the real content and share the first full draft for review within two weeks.
